Post St. Patty's Weekend

Hi Hi!

I know, it's Wednesday... last weekend was about 72+ hours ago and I am just now getting to my weekend post. FAIL!

Saturday started with Kelti's very first trip to see the ducks. I completely forgot as I'm holding the half full bag of bread that I am super afraid of those flying creatures not to mention the few geese that hang with the duck crowd down at the local park also, AHHH! So as I am contemplating my escape route and they start to swarm me from all sides, Kelti is getting frustrated because she doesn't understand why they don't want her kisses.

Saturday and Sunday passed in the blink of an eye and I just wasn't ready to head back to my daily job. So, I decided to stay home and celebrate St. Patty's day with my favorite girl. My sister, who was suppose to be watching Kelti while I was at work, joined us for the day and the three of us just had the best time. We cleaned out the spare room, organized Kelti's closet, getting rid of all the stained or too small pieces, went to lunch, not to mention finished up all the dishes and laundry from the weekend! Wow feeling accomplished! (Now why can't I get all that done on my normal weekend days?)

Later Monday evening, instead of indulging in corned beef and green beer, Kelti and I made some colorful mini omelet's! We threw together red, orange, yellow and green peppers, onion, mushrooms and ham into the bottom of each muffin tin, filling the rest with egg whites mixed with a few eggs to give it the right color. And there you have it, breakfast on the go!

Now we are onto Easter which is actually one of my favorite holidays... at least it is up there in the top 5. This year I am even more excited because Kelti is at the age to understand more and more of the holiday festivities. We are going to start practicing our Easter egg hunting this weekend! :)
