6 Month Birthday!

So our little Bumblebee turned 6 months old last week! She has grown in ways that we never dreamed of.

We started the morning off with birthday hugs and kisses, though she wasn't into it until after her morning bottle. Then she turns as sweet as pie, playing in her room while I pick out her birthday outfit for the day.

 

Then of course, time for a photo shoot. She was a peach for a while but eventually got tired of the camera in her face.

 

Unfortunately she is still too young for birthday cake, so we celebrated with green beans for dinner and mangos for dessert!



Ending the exciting day with a nap in mommys arms. My favorite part. :)

Mommy and Daddy love you so so much. You are a very special little lady. XOXO







 

Kelti's Screams

Who would have thought (well definitely not me) how much personality my sweet girl would have by 5 1/2 months old. I don't really know what I was thinking to expect but our little bumblebee exceeds my expectations in the personality category.

She has her happy laugh.

 

Her playful smile.

Her excited stares.

 

Her intense yells.

 

Her mad/frustrated screams.

 

Her tired whimpers.

 

 

Her cute sass.

And of course her... "Really Mom?!?" look. ( I feel like I get this often.)

 

Next will be her first demands I'm sure!

Wonder what her first word will be? What are the most common first words spoken?

Baby's First Camping Trip

 

 Kelti's first camping trip way went better than ever expected. She was such a social butterfly, eating up the sun (the little that we had anyways) and loved being outside in the fresh mountain air. Packing for a baby is as everyone knows, a challange. Lots of prep, shopping and note making but in the end it came off without a hitch! Between the obvious diapers, wipes and formula which I packed way to much of, we packed a couple of items that were lifesavers.

Highchair ~ Also used as a seat for her to sit and play with her toys as she is not 100% able to sit up and STAY sitting up on her own yet. Kelti is now starting on rice cereal and some pureed veggies. She is growing up so fast!

 

Pack and Play ~ For ALL the obvious reasons!

Bjorn ~ Was perfect to carry her around with you and keep her involved while you could still enjoy a conversation, beverage or hotdog :) Don't forget the Stella shades!

Next trip, BOATING!
