Need, Want, LOVE List

So I am going to start a new post... which I will repeat once a week or when every the heck I feel like it. :) So my "Need, Want, LOVE List" includes my current obsessions because god knows I am obsessed with random things all the fricken time, which leads to purchases, and projects and ideas, empty bank accounts and sometimes random crap. Don't send me out to pick up a birthday present for a friend in the middle of one of these days because I will come home with the works, then decide what I will give and what I will keep. Selfish I know! In my mind that is thoughtful because I am giving myself many different options for a gift from the comfort of my living room floor filled with bags of purchases. OK off my soap box... my "Need, Want, LOVE List" today... :)

1) Pumpkin Coffee ~ Holy Heck! There is nothing, NOTHING that screams fall to me more than my Pumpkin Spice coffee. It is hard to get an espresso with the good Pumpkin Spice sauce this time of year but I am motivated to have it right now! So what do I do... go in search of my own! Totally recommend this one if you are a fan of the Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte. I put a couple drips of this sauce in my home brewed coffee and ta' da'! No 400 calorie, $4.65 cent coffee. But oh does it scream, "Put a scarf on and drink me!" To my next obsession...

2) Scarfs ~ Yes, yes it is 90 degrees out today but do you think if I wear this, mother nature might get the point? So I dressed my fall scarf with a t-shirt and sandals and totally sported the scarf in the blistering heat. Ya baby!

3) Baby Room Update ~ Ha! Sometimes when I write, I seem to catch myself laughing out loud, is that normal? Get the transition... "Ya baby"?! (still laughing). So Kelti is 8 1/2 months old and I believe time for a "small" revamp of the nursery to make it more infant worthy than newborn. The 0-6 months cloths have been sadly put away and the big girl toys are filling the shelves. First new purchase for the nursery is a new Rug! The nice white fuzzy rug is no longer appropriate since Kelti started crawling. She thinks it's the neatest thing to pull it apart and try and eat it.... bad idea! New art is also needed. Right now she has photos of her as a newborn but no recent pictures, a must add! Ready, set.... lets go SHOPPING!

4) Shrimp ~ Holy YUM! I was and always have been a carnivore. Give me a big slab of medium rare steak and I was happy! Blach! Since pregnancy, I have not looked at meat the same, hormone changes I am sure. So I am a HUGE fan of seafood lately. Example... my husband took me out to dinner just the other night to a very nice local place. Early on in the day I had decided to myself that I was going to indulge in shrimp, lots and lots of shrimp. So we sit down order a couple beers and take a glance at the menu, already knowing in my head what I wanted to order. Low and behold, no shrimp on the menu! After a few, "No honey I will find something else" and a few "there is nothing that I want lets just go home" my hubby picked up the bill for our beers and we headed off to.... RED LOBSTER! He knew there would be no way I would be disappointed (he is so smart). Funny part... it was "Shrimp Fest" week! HA!

5) Organization ~ I need some of this in my life! Ready, set, GO! Wait.. not that easy??! OK, new found goal for the upcoming month.. organize my schedule, my finances, my house, and my nutrition. Oh! And more snuggle time. :)  Upcoming post on the progress of all of this I am sure!

Happy Friday All!!

Wedding Bells!

Congratulations to my sister and her new husband on their new marriage! This was also Kelti's first wedding and overall she did absolutely amazing. We ran into a few hurtles but as long as the walk down the isle worked out that is all we really were concerned about. Well the Saturday started out early, heading to get my sisters nails done and a cup of coffee in a white and green cup. Oh the joy that comes in that small cup is just amazing!

Next, we were off to the venue! Kelti proceeded to help unpack the sugar cookies from the trunk with grandpa.

The morning was a busy one... setting up tables, centerpieces, catering, DJ, hair, makeup the whole nine yards. Before we knew it it was noon and time to get the bride in her dress! Next, the first look! Family pictures, bridal pictures all proceeded until the guests started to show and then it was back into hiding for the bride and last minute touch ups!

My baby girl with grandma during the ceremony, she was so excited for her auntie to get married.

Kelti after the ceremony, taking a break in the grass with her mommy. Thank you Kristin Davie for catching the moment. :)

The signing of the wedding certificate.

Kelti and Luke's first ever father daughter dance was definitely one of the highlights of the evening for me.

The beautiful bride and her loving hubby!

The wedding turned out beautiful, I made it through my speech without shedding to many tears or stuttering over too many words, my beautiful baby girl made it all the way down and back up the isle without any meltdowns or mishaps and the new couple finished off the night with a fist pump to "Shout" by The Isley brothers. "Wishing you both the best adventures to come... full of love, laughs, happy tears and buttered popcorn."

8 Months ~ WOW!

Happy 8 month birthday baby love! Wow how much you have grown in a month, it is just amazing! A few major recaps...

July 2013 ~ Eating! You are a little muncher yet it seems like you are already loosing all of your cute little baby rolls (the few that you actually got). You love your "cereal" which is the little gerber puffs that desolve in your mouth instantly. You always want what is on momma's plate even if we have your food right in front of you. Sippy cup.. Forget it! You want a cup and a straw like mom or a water bottle which ends up all over you in the end. We found you some water bottles that are for childern but actually work better than a sippy cup. It has a straw so you have welcomed them with open arms.

July 4th, 2013 ~ Starting babbling. First word was baabbah which is what we tend to call your bottle. Second, to my unfortunate suprise.. Dada. You love your daddy so so much and light up everytime he walks in the room. Finally a few weeks later we got a momma out of you but I really do think it started at Num Num which is the word you use while eating your cereal. (First taste of Green Juice, you love it!)

July 20th, 2013 ~ You started waving Bye Bye. It is so cute! You are definitely getting better at it day by day but you choose to do it when you please so when Mommy is trying to show you off and wants you to say bye bye of course you dont do it. You start wailing your hands and yelling as soon as we get you in the car though, go figure. You don't say "Bye Bye" yet is more of a yell.

July 31st ~ Clapping! You know how to clap now and love to get excited and clap. When you do something incredible, which is all the time, Mommy claps and you clap too! Adorable!

August 4th, 2013 ~ First crawl. You were so close to crawling for such a long time yet never took the pludge. Finally on the morning of August 4th while me and your daddy where playing with you in your bedroom you decided that "Today is the Day"! We put daddy's iphone a couple feet away from you while it played the Despicable Me 2 trailer. You love those little jumping yellow guys! You crawled right over to it and was so excited. Of course we did this multiple times and finally when it was time to get up and move to the next task of the day, you had a COW when daddy had to take his phone away. Shortly after it was definitely nap time. (Picture of first crawl)

August 7th, 2013 ~ You started pointing at things. You tend to babble while pointing at random items so I decided to start saying "What's That!" everytime. Well you caught on fast and I swear you point at things and say "What's That!". This is my all time favorite thing right now, you are so gosh darn cute! I am sure I will regret it later. :)

Happy Birthday Bumblebee!!
