Gap has me all excited about these festive October numbers! I am a new fan of the long t-shirt look over Kelti's skinny leggings. Now that she is getting older I feel like the onsies just don't do it for her. We need to have "toddler" like clothing. (PS she is still only 9 months realistically but age 3 at heart)

"Mini" Fall Wardrobe
I just can not get enough off all the cute fall outfits coming out for not only myself but my little mini! I seem to go through shopping phases, one week I don't have any desire to spend a dime, frugal me, and the next it's like someone opened the flood gates, gave me a million dollars and said READY... GO! I am in love with these Halloween Gap jammies. I got Kelti the skeleton ones and they fit so nicely and are the softest cotton. Big thumbs up!

Again, with the gold! Stylish hair accessories. Can't go wrong with these gems from Gymboree!
Happy FALL-LA-LA-LA-LA Friday!

Need, Want, Love List
1) Double Double Toil and Trouble ~ Yes you heard me right the MaryKate and Ashley Olsen 1993 Film! There is no better way in my book to start this season off with anything but the best classic movies we use to watch growing up. Bring on Sunday, the first OFFICIAL day of Fall; a lazy movie watching, fireplace blazing, glass of vino, snuggled with the family on the couch day! I'm so ready!! (If anyone wants to bring me ham corn chowder, that is also welcome) :)
2) NEED Sleep! But LOVE the way my babe is starting to really snuggle with me now. Yes yes you guessed it, this little bundle is sleeping right between me and Luke still. We all did very good when Kelti transitioned from her bassinet to her crib. A few weeks into it however, me and Luke were so completely sleep deprived from getting up 4-6 times a night and having to reinsert the Binky and this is not counting every time we wake up just to peak over at the camera to see if she is still on her back. This little girl (like her mommy) hates to sleep on her back. It is always her side or unfortunately we find her sometimes on her tummy. What a scare! Ready for a snuggle weekend ahead!
3) Our new front porch! I am so mad at myself for not getting a before picture but for the past 5 years we have had just a small, very ugly step in front of our front door. (UPDATE** Below is a picture of our front porch before the new remodel, thank you Mom for taking the picture! This is Luke walking Kelti into our house for the first time, December 15, 2012.) Now I have a new porch to decorate and I am so excited for the fall decorations that are going to liter our new entry.
4) Glitter and Gold! I have always been a fan of gold but it seems to be hitting the stores this season with more glitz and glam and how cute are these for baby Kelti. Probably my favorite purchase this week! :)
5) And ending the list, while enjoying a seasonal favorite, Pumpkin Spice Latte while writing this post. I couldn't think of a better way to end a Friday afternoon!
Happy Friday All!

Happy 9 months to you and Happy 4 years to Us!
Happy Happy Friday!! Again we made it to another weekend and man o' man have we had a week in our household. Luke and I celebrated our 4 year wedding anniversary yesterday. After work we hit the spa for a wonderful couples massage and pampering.
Little did we know that by 8pm and no dinner we would be starving! We looked like a hot mess however with greasy hair and skin from all the oils they used on us. Of course I wanted a nice restaurant on our anniversary but I was running into a few setbacks... 1) I looked awful; 2) we smelt like a papyri set; 3) we felt like we had been run over by a freight truck and were completely exhausted. So we finally decide after a few sighs that it was takeout for us. Well shoot! If we get take out, go get our girlie, she is absolutely not going to let us eat (she wants everything that you have so eating dinner is literally impossible sometimes). After the call had been placed for the takeout we decided to go in and eat it. My chowder tasted like soap and I am wondering if it was just leaking out of my pores from the massage. Oh well, dinner, even though not quite what I had in mind, ACCOMPLISHED!
We decided on our first anniversary that we were going to do the traditional gifts.. Year One was paper, Year Two was cotton, Three was Leather and Four is Silk or Linen. Well, let me tell you how creative you have to be to find something for your husband in the Silk and Linen department! Ahhh but I did it! Of course it was late shipping out so he will get it today so I can't disclose what it is quite yet... :) And this girl got some gorgeous new maxi dresses for our up coming trip to Napa, CA! Win win!! Well enough about us, I just want to wish my hubby a Happy Anniversary; the last ten years together have been amazing, the last four were incredible and the last nine months with our little miracle have been indescribable. Thank you for the life that you have given me and the one we are currently building. <3
Our little bumblebee is 9 months old today! At this time 9 months ago you were on your way into this world and what a journey that was. (In an upcoming post we will go back in time to Kelti's Birth Story I promise)
Holy macaroni baby Kelti, you are growing into such a spunky young lady! A couple milestones this month... You are crawling all over the place, running away from us like it's a game (oh no!) and climbing up anything and everything.
The first tooth is trying to poke through as we speak! I can barely see it but you can really feel it coming in and you are chewing on everything!
You are also such a little talker. You definitely have the "Mama" and "Dada" down pat and the newest word... Puppy which you pronounce as "Pup Pup".
You love to point at things and now that you are trying to talk we always tell you what it is you are pointing at because you are brilliant and we know you understand. :)
You never really got the baby rolls like some baby's get but the one and only that you had on your leg is nearly gone. (sad face) You are just reminding us everyday that you will not be little forever and you are learning, growing and changing everyday. We love you little lady and are extremely proud of the girlie you are becoming.
Kisses and hugs!

Date Night Friday, Family Saturday, Housewife Sunday!
And it is just how it sounds....What a great weekend! We have been on the move all summer long from one event, vacation or activity to the next. I am not by any means arguing the fact that we didn't have an absolute blast this summer because we totally did and Holy Macaroni the memories that were made are lifetime treasures for sure.
Friday night... Date night! It was an epic afternoon trying to figure out whether to go, or not to go, where to go, when to go but we finally got in the car with a couple that me and Luke ABSOLUTELY adore and went to the movie theatre to see "Were the Millers". A beer (or two), a pizza and a million gut wrenching laughs later we headed home to our little girl. GREAT NIGHT!
Saturday... Wedding Day! Another over the moon perfect couple tied the knot on Saturday. The morning started out with Luke working around the house while me and Kelti laid on the couch and watched Tangled. I love having a little girl because I now have an excuse to watch all my Disney princess movies again! (Not that not have Kelti ever stopped me before) Then off to lunch as a family of three! Kelti enjoyed her first cup of chicken noodle soup, though the cucumber slices off my salad were more entertaining. Off to the wedding we went! It was great to see all the family and enjoy such a special day basking in the sun at a hilltop winery.
Sunday... Sunday started out with a breakfast date at Grandma's house. The three of us took the short walk through the orchard to my parents house for an egg, bacon and toast breakfast, Yum Yum! Then back home for Kelti's morning nap and another princess movie. :) Then it was time for Luke to leave. He had made plans to help a friend up at his cabin in the mountains. Sad face here when I was nicely told for the millionth time that me and Kelti just couldn't go on this trip, work needed to be done and there just wasn't enough room in the side by side for the whole family... whhhatt! :(
So after the two of us moped around for a while, dusted furniture, folded the cloths (housewife task #1) and got tired of playing with the same ol' toys we ventured off to the grocery store, accompanied by grandma. :) Yay, housewife task #2 completed!
Home we went and decided to partake in making daddy a weeks worth of breakfast burritos because I was too frugal to by the premade stuff at the store! Yes, I slaved over the stove, burnt the bacon all the while trying to keep Kelti occupied with none other than rice cakes and tortilla shells!
Finally daddy came home and we had another great night as a family. Ohh how I hate to see the weekends like this come to an end.

Labor Day
Happy Thirsty Thursday All! First and foremost, lets take in a deep breath of fresh, crisp, September air...... Ohhhhh Ya! My absolute FAVORITE time of year. And what better way to move from Summer to Fall than a last trip to the lake for Labor Day weekend.
This was Kelti's first trip to Lake Roosevelt, our family and friends all time favorite local destination. This was also Kelti's first beach camping trip, no motor home, oh man am I crazy??!
We played in the water, ate sand, went on morning walks, sang songs, sat around a camp fire, took boat rides.... What an awesome weekend with some great people! Kelti even came home with her first tooth, big girl!
Now, as we settle back into our schedules, take the scarfs and boots out of the closet and put away the bathing suits and shorts I am getting so giddy about the upcoming festivities and all the firsts that are going to occur! Harvest, Halloween, Thanksgiving, 1st BIRTHDAY (whhhatttt!) and Christmas! Bring out the crock pot and pumpkin Jammie's, lets do this!!

Need, Want, LOVE List
So I am going to start a new post... which I will repeat once a week or when every the heck I feel like it. :) So my "Need, Want, LOVE List" includes my current obsessions because god knows I am obsessed with random things all the fricken time, which leads to purchases, and projects and ideas, empty bank accounts and sometimes random crap. Don't send me out to pick up a birthday present for a friend in the middle of one of these days because I will come home with the works, then decide what I will give and what I will keep. Selfish I know! In my mind that is thoughtful because I am giving myself many different options for a gift from the comfort of my living room floor filled with bags of purchases. OK off my soap box... my "Need, Want, LOVE List" today... :)
1) Pumpkin Coffee ~ Holy Heck! There is nothing, NOTHING that screams fall to me more than my Pumpkin Spice coffee. It is hard to get an espresso with the good Pumpkin Spice sauce this time of year but I am motivated to have it right now! So what do I do... go in search of my own! Totally recommend this one if you are a fan of the Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte. I put a couple drips of this sauce in my home brewed coffee and ta' da'! No 400 calorie, $4.65 cent coffee. But oh does it scream, "Put a scarf on and drink me!" To my next obsession...
2) Scarfs ~ Yes, yes it is 90 degrees out today but do you think if I wear this, mother nature might get the point? So I dressed my fall scarf with a t-shirt and sandals and totally sported the scarf in the blistering heat. Ya baby!
3) Baby Room Update ~ Ha! Sometimes when I write, I seem to catch myself laughing out loud, is that normal? Get the transition... "Ya baby"?! (still laughing). So Kelti is 8 1/2 months old and I believe time for a "small" revamp of the nursery to make it more infant worthy than newborn. The 0-6 months cloths have been sadly put away and the big girl toys are filling the shelves. First new purchase for the nursery is a new Rug! The nice white fuzzy rug is no longer appropriate since Kelti started crawling. She thinks it's the neatest thing to pull it apart and try and eat it.... bad idea! New art is also needed. Right now she has photos of her as a newborn but no recent pictures, a must add! Ready, set.... lets go SHOPPING!
4) Shrimp ~ Holy YUM! I was and always have been a carnivore. Give me a big slab of medium rare steak and I was happy! Blach! Since pregnancy, I have not looked at meat the same, hormone changes I am sure. So I am a HUGE fan of seafood lately. Example... my husband took me out to dinner just the other night to a very nice local place. Early on in the day I had decided to myself that I was going to indulge in shrimp, lots and lots of shrimp. So we sit down order a couple beers and take a glance at the menu, already knowing in my head what I wanted to order. Low and behold, no shrimp on the menu! After a few, "No honey I will find something else" and a few "there is nothing that I want lets just go home" my hubby picked up the bill for our beers and we headed off to.... RED LOBSTER! He knew there would be no way I would be disappointed (he is so smart). Funny part... it was "Shrimp Fest" week! HA!
5) Organization ~ I need some of this in my life! Ready, set, GO! Wait.. not that easy??! OK, new found goal for the upcoming month.. organize my schedule, my finances, my house, and my nutrition. Oh! And more snuggle time. :) Upcoming post on the progress of all of this I am sure!
Happy Friday All!!

Wedding Bells!
Congratulations to my sister and her new husband on their new marriage! This was also Kelti's first wedding and overall she did absolutely amazing. We ran into a few hurtles but as long as the walk down the isle worked out that is all we really were concerned about. Well the Saturday started out early, heading to get my sisters nails done and a cup of coffee in a white and green cup. Oh the joy that comes in that small cup is just amazing!
Next, we were off to the venue! Kelti proceeded to help unpack the sugar cookies from the trunk with grandpa.
The morning was a busy one... setting up tables, centerpieces, catering, DJ, hair, makeup the whole nine yards. Before we knew it it was noon and time to get the bride in her dress! Next, the first look! Family pictures, bridal pictures all proceeded until the guests started to show and then it was back into hiding for the bride and last minute touch ups!
Kelti and Luke's first ever father daughter dance was definitely one of the highlights of the evening for me.
The wedding turned out beautiful, I made it through my speech without shedding to many tears or stuttering over too many words, my beautiful baby girl made it all the way down and back up the isle without any meltdowns or mishaps and the new couple finished off the night with a fist pump to "Shout" by The Isley brothers. "Wishing you both the best adventures to come... full of love, laughs, happy tears and buttered popcorn."
